The Half Blood Prince:

As I am about to turn 25, I really believe that you can never grow too old for Harry Potter. At this point in my life it's more than just a book or a movie, it's this other world that we secretly wish that we could be part of. I have been hooked on Harry Potter ever since I had to read it in my freshman English class in high school.

The friendships, quidditch matches, adventures, and mysteries are just small parts of the treasures that HP has given us. Maybe I lead a very boring life, but every time I see a new Harry Potter movie all I can envision is myself running through the wall at platform 9 and 3/4 to board the train to Hogwarts.

Last night I saw the 6th movie in this seven part magical experience. This movie was definitely smaller when it came to "action", but the story itself was more intimate than any of the others. If you haven't read the books or at least seen the first five movies, you may walk away from Half Blood Prince almost confused. I sat in my chair at the end thinking that nothing major really happens in the Half-Blood Prince. It wasn't until I was walking home from the movie that all the pieces kind of fell together. Half-Blood Prince sets all of the pivotal events that need resolution in the final book and two films.

Was it the best film out of the 6? Some may argue yes, some may argue no. While I definitely did enjoy the movie, and I believe it probably portrayed the book the closest out of others; I still think that nothing can top the Prisoner of Azkaban.
